For many high school sports teams, as well as recreation teams, the concentration is on performing at their best for the school and team’s benefit. We all love to see the players work hard and come through with teamwork and wins, but in the long run, what do we remember, the photographs. That is where I come in to play.
As a photographer in the Carroll County area, over the past 15 plus years, much of my work has been more in the Baltimore Metropolitan area for weddings, sports team and action photography. I have recently become more involved in capturing local sports actions in the Carroll and Frederick County, Maryland areas.
Our students work hard for their schools and sports teams, why not capture this great work in print. Either in action shots or the team posed, these children and families can put these Memory Mates on the shelf to remember the fun times their children had in the sporting events. Recently, I have had a few parents mention to me, that their school athletic department does not have anything planned to photograph the students, and that I should contact the schools. This is also true of the recreation teams. They may have the team group photos, but nothing really to capture the athlete on the field.
Pricing starts at about $ 12.00 for a memory mate ( team photo and individual photo ) in the traditional format, or $ 16.00 in the digital format ( much nicer and newer look ). Other options are also available for the student/parent to purchase. ( Team sports memory mate prices )
I also have the ability to come and take action photographs during the game. If the teammates are interested in this option, the cost can be calculated in two ways. One is where I would photograph the entire event/game and give each player a cd of the images for a cost of $ 15 per player, minimum of 10 players. The second option is I can come photograph the game/event and post the images online for the parents/ child to go online and order many different size photo reprints as well as other items, including key tags, shirts, and more. This would cost $ 45 for the time at the game, per game, ( within 25 miles of Westminster, Md- $ 55 to adjacent counties ) and the set up for online viewing.
